iki vs notion

You don’t hold meetings in a library.

Notion is the standard for structured workspaces and teams. IKI is the quiet room next door: your saves, read and summarised on your phone, kept as files.

Notion is for coordinating work: wikis, databases, project boards and docs a whole team edits, on every platform, with a free web clipper. If your problem involves other people, use Notion. IKI is for one person’s saved things, the articles, screenshots, voice notes, reels and PDFs that pile up. Notion AI can transcribe audio files in Meeting Notes on paid plans. IKI transcribes voice and reads videos on the phone for free, and answers from everything you saved. It has no blocks, databases or collaborators, and the two work fine side by side.

credit where it’s due

Where Notion wins.

Anything with more than one person

Wikis, projects, shared databases and company docs. Notion is the standard for a reason, and IKI doesn’t compete there.

Platforms

Web, Windows, Android and everything else. IKI is Apple-only.

Structure

If you enjoy building linked databases and views, Notion is a construction kit. IKI gives you nothing to build, on purpose.

moving over

How to move over.

  1. 1In Notion, open Settings › Export all workspace content and choose Markdown & CSV.
  2. 2Unzip it and share the .md files into IKI, or drop them into the library folder in the Files app. Your phone indexes and summarises each page and makes it a card.
  3. 3Databases arrive as flat CSV, and relations and views don’t survive the trip. Page text does.

Start with one save.

It’s free to start, and every save is a file you own.
