iki for private work

For material that shouldn’t leave your phone.

Interviews, case notes, documents from a source. IKI transcribes, reads and answers on the iPhone itself. There’s no server copy, and airplane mode changes nothing.

three moments

Where IKI helps most.

01

Transcribed on the device.

Record an interview and the iPhone transcribes it in English, Russian or Portuguese. The audio stays next to the text.

02

Documents, read locally.

Scan pages with the camera or add PDFs. The phone reads the text, and Ask answers from it with sources.

03

Share without handing over.

A password-protected page is encrypted on your phone before it’s uploaded. Set it to expire, or revoke it any time.

what can leave the phone

Everything is off
until you turn it on.

This is the complete list. Reading, transcription and answers aren’t on it, because they never leave the phone.

straight answers

What IKI won’t do for you.

It helps to know the limits before you start.

  • Files are protected the way iOS protects every app’s files: by your passcode. Keep one set.
  • If you store the library in iCloud Drive, it syncs under your Apple Account. Turn on Advanced Data Protection for end-to-end encryption.
  • There’s no server copy, so there’s nothing we can restore for you. Back the folder up yourself.
  • This page describes what the app does. It isn’t legal advice, so check your own professional obligations.

the difference, in three lines

Reads everything. Sends nothing.
Leaves you the files.

Keep sensitive material where it belongs.

There’s no server copy, and every switch is yours.
